We are Clitheroe Parish Church Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society and we provide live entertainment in Clitheroe and to enjoy ourselves in the process. We have two regular productions during the year, which are a Musical in February and a Play in May.

The Society operates under the umbrella of the Clitheroe Parish Church but we are open to all and would like to extend a very warm welcome to anyone who would like to join the team and help with our productions. We are always looking for people to help out in all departments – acting, singing or dancing – building sets or painting scenery – helping with lighting, props or costumes – selling tickets or making tea.

We meet to rehearse and perform at the St. Mary’s Centre. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm when we are preparing for a Musical. (Usually September to February) and Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm when we are preparing for a play (Usually March to May).

For further information about the Society and our current productions please visit our website.

Whether you want to be involved throughout the year or just during show weeks please send an e-mail to secretary@thopera.co.uk or come along to one of our rehearsals at St. Mary’s Centre and say hello. Or, if you prefer to give us a call, ring Steph, our Chair, on 07790 721159.
